The 32nd Medical Informatics Europe Conference, MIE2022, was held in Nice, France, May 27-30, 2022. The conference was hosted by the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI) and organized by the “MCO Congress”. The MIRACUM consortium was represented at the congress with several scientists and four contributions:
The scientific program committee was chaired by Professor Brigitte Séroussi, University of Sorbonne, French Association for Medical Informatics (AIM). The focus topic of MIE2022 was “Challenges of Trustable AI and Added-value on Health”, emphasizing on the one hand the increasing importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare and on the other hand the need for trustable AI to fully exploit the expected impact of AI on health, both from the perspective of healthcare professionals and patients.
